The Role
Ready to Kick Start your Career
We’re seeking a Business Support Officer to join our State Underwriting Team. You’ll play a key role in supporting our Underwriters and ensuring the smooth, accurate processing of business on our in-house insurance system.
What You'll Do
Register new and renewal submissions
Efficiently manage electronic communications
Check closings received from brokers and file electronically
Solve account queries by connecting Credit Control, Underwriters, and Brokers
Share being the welcoming face at reception
Produce certificates of currency and policy documentation
Follow up renewals and current business on behalf of Underwriters
Check claims status of forthcoming renewals for Underwriters
The Candidate - Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Who we’re looking for
Secondary School Certificate
Minimum 1 year’s administration experience
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle a high-volume workload with solid attention to detail
Demonstrable time management and prioritisation skills
Ability to work autonomously and as a good team player
Bonus points for:
Certificate in administration or related business study
Insurance qualification or Bachelor’s degree
