Our client, a globally recognised insurance brokerage, is seeking a high‑performing Account Director to join their Sydney team and spearhead growth across ASX‑listed and large corporate clients.
About the Role
This is a hunter‑focused position for a strategic and entrepreneurial broker who thrives on building relationships and winning current business. You’ll be empowered to develop your own book from the ground up, targeting high‑value corporate and publicly listed companies across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the ASX‑listed and corporate sectors.
Build and manage a portfolio of complex commercial clients with tailored risk solutions.
Develop strategic relationships with C‑suite stakeholders and decision‑makers.
Collaborate with global teams to deliver innovative, cross‑border insurance programs.
Stay ahead of market trends and regulatory changes impacting corporate risk.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in a senior broking and / or a business development role within commercial insurance.
Strong network and understanding of the ASX‑listed and corporate landscape.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
Self‑starter mentality with a passion for growth and client success.
Tier 1 broking qualification.
