Clinical Nurse (Grade 6) – Care in the Right Setting (CaRS)

About the Role
Join the Care in the Right Setting (CaRS) team at Mackay Base Hospital and provide high-quality, patient-centred care in an integrated hospital and community model. You’ll deliver medical, nursing, and allied health care across various settings, including Hospital in the Home, Geriatric Emergency Management, and Residential Aged Care Support.
Skills and Experience
Experience across ED, Surgical, Medical, Paediatrics, or HiTH.
Competency in Cannulation, PICC line access, dressing skills, and wound care.
Current driver’s licence and Aged Care National Police Certificate.
BLS competency and mandatory training in infection control, manual handling, and medications management.
Knowledge of ieMR and experience within QLD Health (desirable).
