Accounts Clerk – Property | Temp Role | $40 per hour + super
We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Clerk to support a busy property accounting team in a well-known national business. This temporary opportunity offers the chance to work within a professional, high-performing finance environment while gaining exposure to major commercial and retail property portfolios.
About the role
Working closely with the Property Accountants and Trust Accounting Manager, you’ll manage a range of accounts payable and receivable functions across multiple property portfolios. Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines are key.
Key responsibilities
Process accounts payable invoices and ensure all supplier details are verified and compliant
Manage accounts receivable tasks, including tenant receipting and unallocated receipt investigations
Support the property accountants with reconciliations, queries, and month-end processes
Maintain accurate financial records and uphold trust accounting and audit requirements
Provide professional, timely communication with internal and external stakeholders
About you
Previous experience in property or real estate accounting highly regarded
Familiarity with MRI or Yardi systems preferred
Strong understanding of accounts payable / receivable processes
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Confident communicator and collaborative team player
