Role Overview
I'm working with a Federal Government to find a Geospatial SQL Developer.
This is an initial contract until October and can be based in QLD, ACT, VIC, NSW, NT, SA or TAS.
Experience & Qualifications
5+ years' experience with GIS software development and Cloud solutions.
Demonstrated ability to deliver Geospatial solutions and support through the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development practices and processes including Azure Enterprise Cloud.
Solid proficiency in SQL Server spatial functions (e.g., STDistance, STIntersects).
Experience with Azure Maps REST APIs and SDKs.
Familiarity with Azure Function Apps or Logic Apps for lightweight geospatial processing.
Understanding of coordinate systems, spatial indexing, and data formats like GeoJSON and WKT.
Application Requirements
Be an Australian citizen.
Have a minimum baseline clearance.
