What you’ll be doing
Provision of contemporary, comprehensive and qualified specialist services that are safe, effective, evidence‑based and patient‑centred.
Location
The historic town of Tenterfield is located at the northern boundary of Hunter Current England Health District on the New England Highway, 18 km from the Queensland border and an hour drive from Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Responsibilities
Admitting, consultative, diagnostic, procedural, outpatient, telehealth and on‑call services as required by HNELHD.
Attendance and availability during rostered work hours and while on‑call including clinical handover, supervision, teaching and for emergency and routine care.
Provision of education and research as required by HNELHD.
Qualifications and Evidence
A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM, or overseas trained specialist pathways.
Evidence of being a medical expert with recent and comprehensive experience in general practice.
Evidence of being a scholar with ongoing professional development and ability to assist others.
Evidence of being a skilled communicator, oral and written, with patients, students, colleagues and public.
Evidence of being a collaborator within an interdisciplinary framework.
Evidence of being a manager with past leadership, flexibility and safety and quality improvement experience.
Evidence of being a skilled with continued development, peer review and clinical governance.
Evidence of being an advocate contributing to community health.
