Ace Wire Works (VIC) Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Metal Machinists to join their busy manufacturing team. The successful candidates will operate manual and CNC metalworking machines, including automated mesh welding equipment, to produce precision metal components and wire-based products.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and set up manual and CNC machines to fabricate components according to specifications
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues to minimize downtime
Ensure all products meet quality and dimensional standards using precision measuring tools
Complete production documentation and prepare products for dispatch
Work safely and maintain a clean, organised workshop workplace
Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience in metal machining or related manufacturing roles
Relevant trade qualification
Experience operating manual and CNC machines, including basic programming and setup
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Skilled in using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
Solid mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Valuable communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
