An opportunity has arisen for a trade qualified 'Electrical Apprentice - Boiler Service Technician' to join Steamtech Engineering on a full time basis.
Steamtech Engineering are an established, Australian owned company actively involved in all aspects of the Australian Boiler Industry, with over 40 years of experience in boiler industry, providing service & support to a wide range of industrial & commercial customers.
We are looking for a high-character individual who will bring a positive, can-do attitude to the position. The role will involve working in a team of motivated individuals who strive for successful outcomes including continuous improvement & growth.
The role enatils involvement in all aspects of steam & hot water boiler programmed maintenance, service & support to our established & growing customer base.

This role will include work in the following areas:
- Programmed Maintenance - Industrial Steam/Hot Water Boilers & associated Electrical & Mechanical Components
- Onsite Programmed Maintenance & Repairs (Victoria Wide)
- Workshop Repairs, Overhauls & Fabrication (Hallam Based Workshop)
- Maintaining, Testing & Fault Finding Steam/Hot Water & Associated Controls
- Maintaining Automation & Combustion Systems including PLC’s, HMI’s & VSD’s
- Electrical Upgrades & Wiring Control Systems / Components
- Maintaining Customer Records, Documentation & Service Reports
- Onsite Repairs, Service Calls & Support

Requirements:
- Professional Candidates need only apply
- Completed Secondary Education to Year 12 Level
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence & Personal Transportation
- Reliable, Trustworthy, Responsible & Friendly Attitude
- Strong Attention to Detail & Customer Service Experience
- Good Communication (Verbal/Written) & Computer Literacy Skills
- Ability to Complete Overtime as Required including Flexible Work Schedules
Note: This role would suit a canditate either 18-21 or mature age (older than 21) who are looking to commence an apprenticeship with the view to gaining qualifications & experience in a industry with ongoing growth & opportunity.
Alternatively, the right candidate would have recently completed their secondary education, be looking to begin their work career.
