Job Description
Based at the builder’s premises, we are looking for a Residential Lighting Designer to connect directly with the builder’s clients and deliver practical and creative lighting plans.
Key Responsibilities
Read and understand architectural and electrical plans.
Create lighting design plans that reflect the customer’s needs and design concepts.
Specify products and placement solutions that fit the customer brief while providing an efficient service.
Apply technical knowledge to ensure appropriate recommendations for successful installations.
Seek opportunities to grow the consultation service.
Ensure all administrative requirements are met, including phone enquiries, reporting and paperwork.
About You
Strong customer service and sales skills, focusing on a personalised service and versatile approach.
Ability to negotiate effectively and contribute toward profitability and compliance.
Experience/knowledge in interior/lighting design and ability to read house plans.
Solid attention to detail, competent use of systems, preparing quotes and orders.
Energetic and enthusiastic approach when engaging with clients and stakeholders.
Ability to work in a team and support towards a common goal.
Positive attitude and resilience under challenges and pressures.
