Our chiropractic clinic is on the lookout for a friendly, caring and reliable Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist to join our skilled team. We are dedicated to providing individualised and exceptional care to our patients so an understanding of chiropractic treatment & care would be an advantage.
Our practice is located within the Marion Specialist Centre opposite Westfield Marion. The clinic operates between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 9 am and 12noon. This role is a part time position that would offer 18 hours covering Mondays & Tuesdays.
You will need to be available to work between the clinic hours and it would be ideal if you have flexibility to cover annual leave/sick leave as needed.
Position Overview
You will be the welcoming face of our practice and will be responsible for the smooth patient flow in and out of the clinic. Robust computer skills are a must along with a willingness to learn and be trained in our patient management system, Prac Suite.
Your role will include scheduling and managing a busy appointment book, processing patient billing including private health, DVA and Medicare payments, end of day reconciliation and managing accounts,
responding to emails, maintaining general tidiness around the clinic and supporting the Chiropractors as needed.
Requirements
Previous experience in a healthcare environment or customer service role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including a polite telephone manner
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Plenty of initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to adhere to clinic procedures and maintain patient privacy & confidentiality
Police Clearance is mandatory
Remuneration
Remuneration for this position will be in accordance with the Health Professionals and Support Services Award but we are willing to pay above recommendations based on experience and/or qualifications.
