We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Safety and Compliance Advisor to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a newly created role reporting to the OHS Manager. The Safety and Compliance Advisor will be accountable for the execution of the HSE culture, strategy, plan and performance across the Regional business unit. This role is based in Griffith NSW.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert, practical advice to Operational Leaders on improving HSE culture and performance.
Lead initiatives such as incident investigations, risk assessments of recent plant, equipment, and processes.
Implement current policies, procedures and systems and design new ones as the business grows
Ensure compliance with HSE best practices, standards, systems, governance,



policies and legislation.
Engage with front line employees and supervisors to drive best practice behaviour.
Contribute significantly to the growth of safety culture within the organisation.
Liaise with the broader HSE system to fulfill the team’s objectives and collaborate with other teams as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:
Expert knowledge and in-depth understanding of HSE best practices, standards, and systems.
Strong business partnership skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively.
At least (3) years of experience in incident investigation, risk assessment, and implementation of HSE policies.
Ability to engage with employees at all levels to promote and ensure best practice behaviour.
Strong organisational and leadership skills.
Minimum Certificate IV in WHS.
