Assistant Educator – Lucas

Location: Lucas, Ballarat VIC

Part‑time, 37.5 hours a week – Immediate start required.

Responsibilities

- Supporting children’s learning and development, including contributing to the educational programme and practice.
- Assisting in the delivery of an approved learning framework.
- Developing positive relationships with children and families.
- Supporting daily routines and care practices.
- Ensuring compliance with service policies and legislation.
- Working collaboratively with the team to create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment.

Qualifications

- Diploma or Certificate III in Education and Care.
- Availability to work rotating shifts between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm.
- Ability to start ASAP.
- Knowledge of Children’s Services Regulations and National Quality Standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion, enthusiasm and commitment to delivering high quality care.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.




- Food Handlers Certificate.
