We collaborate with architects, interior designers, builders, and private clients to deliver high-quality, durable, and aesthetically pleasing finishes for walls, floors, and joinery.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Solid Plasterer to join our skilled team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional plastering work across various projects while ensuring the highest standard of craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Corner Bead Installation: Prepare and attach corner beads to achieve sharp, clean edges on plastered surfaces.
- Decorative Fittings: Fix pre-cast cornices, panel moldings, ceiling centers, and other decorative plaster elements securely.
- Sealing and Smoothing: Cover seams, nail holes,
and surface imperfections using wet plaster or sealing compounds; smooth finishes with the best tools and sandpaper.
- Plaster and Render Application: Mix and apply plaster, cement, and render layers to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces, maintaining consistency and precision.
- Decorative Finishes: Design and implement textures, patterns, and other decorative elements in finishing coats for aesthetic enhancement.
- Specialized Applications: Apply and finish materials with acoustic, insulating, and fireproofing properties using plaster, plastic cement, and similar compounds.
Requirements
- Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum Certificate IV in Plastering or equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a Solid Plasterer.
- Comprehensive knowledge of various plastering techniques, tools, and materials.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a solid commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
