Orange Solutions Pty Ltd is currently looking for a Site/Civil Engineer to contribute to their high-profile projects and grow their career in a supportive, cooperative environment. Location: Bella Vista, NSW 2153 Job-type: Full-time
Salary range: $75,000 - $90,000 (depending upon experience and skills) Key Responsibilities: Plan, organise, and schedule the civil projects and works ensuring the project remains within budget and timeframes.
Design, review and oversee civil engineering projects, including drainage systems, foundations, etc. Prepare, analyse and interpret engineering designs, specifications, and drawings for construction projects to estimate total cost Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, Consultants and other professionals to enhance practices and processes.
Plan, schedule and manage budgets and timelines on civil projects and work while maintaining high standards of quality. Regularly inspect the work being carried out, ensuring it aligns with drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
Study engineering and architectural drawings regularly to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
Determine project costs by calculating labour, material, and related costs Resolve on-site technical challenges while maintaining safety and quality and negotiate variations in design. Ensure adherence to environmental guidelines and local regulations.
Document and manage changes to project scope or design, communicating updates to stakeholders. Ideal candidate must have: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or higher
Minimum 2-3 years of Civil Engineering field Experience in construction sites in Australia is essential Strong understanding of Australian civil engineering standards and regulations.
Experience in site preparation, drainage, foundation design, and infrastructure projects. Proven ability in quality management, while adhering to environmental guidelines and local regulations Strong skills in construction drawings
