The Role:
Based in Mackay and reporting to the Townsville Operations Supervisor, you’ll:
- Deliver steel materials safely and efficiently.
- Operate HC crane trucks for loading/unloading (training provided if required).
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and complete daily inspections.
- Provideoutstanding customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
- Follow all safety, compliance, and company procedures.
- Assist with manual handling when required.
What You’ll Need:
Required (or willing to obtain):
- HC Licence
- White Card
Preferred:
- BFM Accreditation
- EWD experience
- Construction industry knowledge
- Experience delivering steel or similar freight
Personal Attributes:
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Solid communication and problem‑solving skills
- Commitment to safety and reliability
- Flexibility for occasional weekend work
