Medical Receptionist – Wagga Wagga
Our clinic is looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our team. This full‑time role works Monday to Friday with shifts between 7:30 am and 8:pm. Initial training hours are 8:30 am – 5 pm.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for patients, greeting and assisting them with check‑in procedures.
- Answer emails and phone calls promptly and handle inquiries professionally.
- Process billing for private, Medicare, workers compensation and DVA.
- Collaborate with clerical and technical staff, radiologists and referrers.
- After training, assist as a Contact Centre Agent – answer inbound calls for appointment bookings, advise patients on scan preparation, and manage appointment calendar.
Qualifications
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational ability to manage appointments and patient flow.
- Comfortable working across multiple screens and systems.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience in customer service or medical reception.
