About the Hospital
Gladstone Hospital is a Level 3 facility with 70 inpatient beds and expansion plans underway. We deliver a broad range of general and specialist services including:
- Emergency Medicine
- General Medicine & Surgery
- Orthopaedics (basic)
- Obstetrics, Maternity & Gynaecology
- High Dependency & Coronary Care Unit
- Palliative Care
- Paediatrics
- Clinical Investigations, Imaging & Pathology

About the Role
We welcome a motivated General Medicine Specialist (FRACP) to join our collaborative and expanding team. You’ll work alongside the Director and clinical team to provide:
- Inpatient & outpatient care
- 24/7 on-call coverage (shared roster)
- Support for HITH (Hospital in the Home)
- Exercise Stress Testing support with the clinical measurement team
- Contribution to teaching, supervision, and service development
This role offers excellent clinical variety with the chance to influence service growth in a supportive regional hospital environment.
About You
- MBBS or equivalent and eligible for AHPRA registration
- Specialist registration in General Medicine (FRACP) or equivalent
- Commitment to ongoing CME/CPD requirements
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
What We Offer
Total remuneration value up to $528,444 p.a., comprising:
- $210,332 – $244,313 p.a. (L18–L24) OR $251,527 – $266,677 p.a. (L25–L27)
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
