Role Summary
Join a high‑growth Nordic innovator at the forefront of Data Management & AI as a Channel Sales Director. This quota‑carrying, high‑impact role is dedicated to both direct and partner sales, ensuring robust coverage and growth in the Nordics (Denmark, Sweden, and neighbouring markets). You will identify, develop and close new business directly while also building and deepening successful channel partnerships to expand our regional reach and accelerate market velocity. The ideal candidate has a hunter mentality, excelling in both direct customer acquisition and partner enablement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory plans for both direct and partner sales opportunities across SMB, mid‑market and enterprise segments in Denmark and/or Sweden.
- Identify, pursue and close new direct sales opportunities, proactively engaging with prospective customers from first contact through contract signature.
- Champion market intelligence, proactively identifying new partner opportunities and segment expansion.
- Build, recruit and onboard new resellers, distributors and strategic channel partners in the region.
- Forge and maintain strong working relationships with partners, data & AI consultancies and practice leaders.
- Analyse and review both direct and partner sales performance,
forecasting pipeline and setting ambitious targets.
- Monitor and report on direct and channel sales pipeline, ensuring consistent growth and forecasting accuracy.
- Lead partner enablement, certifications and co‑selling efforts, driving shared success and joint GTM activity.
- Serve as primary escalation and support point for both direct customers and key partners, resolving issues quickly and effectively.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years’ experience in direct and/or channel sales in SaaS, cloud or data management solutions.
- Proven quota‑carrying “hunter” with results in both direct new business and partner/channel acquisition.
- Demonstrated ability to balance direct sales activities with partner management initiatives.
- Strong background in territory planning, pipeline building and account mapping in the Nordics.
- Understanding of cloud, data integration, analytics or AI is required.
- Excellent communication skills in English; fluency in Danish and/or Swedish is required.
- Willing and able to travel (up to 50%) throughout the region.
- Must have the right to live and work in Denmark or Sweden; relocation and sponsorship are not available.
