Casual / Seasonal Employment – December to February Period
Support NDIS Participants with Continuity of Daily Living & Community Access During the Holiday Season

Primacy Care Australia is seeking Christmas Casual Mental Health Key Workers to ensure continuity of supports for participants living with psychosocial disability during a time when many staff take leave and demand for services increases.

About the Role
In this community-based role, you will provide short-term, capacity-building and daily living support to NDIS participants. You’ll help maintain the rhythm of their routines, ensure continuity of care, and promote safety and engagement during the holiday period.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting participants with daily routines such as meal prep, domestic tasks, shopping, and personal care
- Facilitating safe transport to appointments and social activities
- Encouraging community engagement, social connection, and wellbeing
- Promoting independent living skills and routine maintenance
- Completing basic progress notes and communicating effectively with care teams
- Ensuring consistency of support during a time of increased service gaps
Please note: This is a non-clinical, support-centred role, focused on practical day-to-day assistance and psychosocial recovery-oriented practice.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking individuals who are:
- Reliable and committed to working during the Christmas / Recent Year period
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable
- Comfortable working autonomously in the community
- Willing to engage with participants respectfully and professionally
- Strong communicators with a capacity for safe decision-making
Key Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- WWCC (if applicable)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Infection Control Certificate
- Police Check
- First Aid & CPR Certificates
- Car, driver’s licence, and comprehensive insurance
- Relevant experience and/or qualifications in community services, mental health, disability, aged care, individual support, social work or similar
Note: Fast-tracked conditional onboarding may be considered for applicants able to provide evidence of in-progress compliance requirements.

Award Coverage & Pay
This position is covered under the SCHADS Award Levels 1.3–2.2, based on your experience and qualifications.
Applicable allowances are paid in line with Fair Work requirements.
