Overview
Part‑time 0.6 FTE available for a Specialist Psychiatrist at Mildura Base Public Hospital, located on the iconic Murray River, servicing a population of approximately 70,000 across 25,000 square kilometres. The position offers flexibility for either full‑time or part‑time work and is scheduled to commence in late July 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the acute and general care medicine on‑call roster.
- Review medical patients presenting to the emergency department, inpatient care, and outpatient clinics.
- Collaborate with general medicine colleagues and other staff specialists on patient care.
- Participate in departmental meetings and reviews as required.
- Provide leadership and teaching for doctors in training and medical students.
Qualifications
- FRANZCP
- Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia
