About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Business Partner to join our Human Resources team across the Penrite Group. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this role will act as a trusted advisor to key business stakeholders, driving people strategy and initiatives that support Penrite’s ongoing growth and success.
As a key member of our HR team, you will partner with leaders across all functions to align workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagement initiatives with business objectives. You will also play a hands-on role in managing complex employee relations matters, supporting stakeholder capability, building consistency and compliance across operations, and embedding best-practice HR processes within the organisation.
This is a full-time position office based at our Head Office in Dandenong South, Victoria.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to develop and deliver people strategies that align with business goals and enhance organisational performance.
- Provide expert guidance on all HR matters, including organisational design, workforce planning, and employee development.
- Lead and resolve complex employee relations cases,
ensuring compliance and a fair, consistent approach.
- Drive initiatives to build stakeholder capability, engagement, and retention across teams.
- Support recruitment and onboarding strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver learning, development, and succession planning programs.
- Contribute to HR policy development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee HR reporting, analytics, and insights to inform strategic decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisory role, working across the full employee lifecycle.
- Degree qualified in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of Australian and NZ employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Proven experience partnering with senior stakeholders to influence and implement strategic people initiatives.
- Demonstrated capability in managing complex employee relations and change management processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to balance strategic priorities and operational demands.
