We are seeking some talented and experienced Full-Time Chef and Cook to join our team and help us continue to provide our customers with the best Indian dining experience in Glendale, NSW.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee daily food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Ensure consistent quality in food preparation and presentation.
- Analyze recipes to meet dietary requirements.
- Price menu items by calculating costs (food, labor, overhead).
- Prepare a diverse range of Indian dishes for regular and special services.
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards.
- Train, lead, and manage kitchen staff.
- Share culinary expertise for staff development.
- Create visually appealing and exciting dishes.
- Plan customized menus for events like weddings and parties.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to prepare a wide variety of Indian dishes.
- Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Relevant Culinary Qualification
- A passion for creating delicious and high-quality food.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A focus on safety, hygiene, and organization.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary of $75,000-$80,000 plus superannuation.
- 4 weeks of annual leave to explore and recharge.
