Nestled in the Valley of the Hawkesbury River, just 45 minutes from Sydney and at the foothills of the Blue Mountains, Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley is set on 8 hectares of landscaped gardens. With contemporary rooms, delicious dining experiences, and Australia’s only Villa Thalgo Day Spa, we deliver an indulgent yet welcoming retreat for our guests.
A Little Taste of Your Day-to-Day
You’ll be responsible for:
- Preparing high-quality dishes that delight both the eyes and the palate
- Managing your workstation, including supplies, equipment, and waste
- Maintaining impeccable hygiene standards that exceed local requirements
- Assisting with washing up and general kitchen duties as needed
What We Need From You
- Previous experience or currently studying commercial cookery
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent teamwork and time management skills
- Knowledge and understanding of HACCP procedures
- High standard of personal presentation
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, public holidays, and the festive season
- Compliance with local food handling laws and legal working rights in Australia
