Are you an experienced Educator who still loves being hands-on in the classroom? Our beautiful 22-place service in Woollahra is seeking a passionate Director / Nominated Supervisor who will also teach in our 3–5 year-old room.
This is the perfect role for someone who thrives in a warm, close-knit environment and enjoys building meaningful relationships with children, families, and educators.
About the Role
As our Teacher-Director, you will:
- Teach in the 3–5 room, fostering a nurturing and inspiring learning environment
- Conduct parent tours and build strong, trusting relationships with families
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the service, including staffing, compliance, quality improvement and administration
- Lead with confidence, organisation, and transparent communication
- Support our team to maintain high standards of practice and continuous improvement
Experience as an Assistant Director or Director is essential, along with solid knowledge of the National Regulations, NQS, and best practice in early childhood education.

About You
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or working towards)
- Enthusiastic, caring, and committed to children’s wellbeing and development
- A strong communicator and team player
- Confident in building positive relationships with families and colleagues
- Organised, passionate, and ready to lead with heart
