We are looking for dedicated people to become part of our opening team, willing to undergo further training in The Meat & Wine Co standards and looking for an entry level position into our restaurant brand
The Meat & Wine Co Canberra is looking for an experienced and dedicated Head Chef who will oversee all kitchen operations and to become part of our professional and hard-working kitchen team.
To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following:
- A genuine passion for food, people and the overall hospitality experience
- 5 years on the job experience in a similar high volume environment.
- A minimum Certificate III Commercial Cookery Qualification
- Leadership and people development experience
- Effective problem solving and time management skills
- Ability to take initiative, work independently however foster an effective team environment
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Impeccable presentation, hygiene and grooming standards
- Working knowledge of OH&S;/WH&S;
- Flexible availability over a 7 day rotating roster.
