Salary: 65,000 to 75,000 AUD depending on experience and qualifications
We’re looking for an experienced chef to join our kitchen team at Moretti. The role includes setting up the kitchen with the needed equipment, following recipes, preparing dishes on time, plating to our restaurant standard, and communicating daily specials to the floor staff. You’ll supervise the kitchen during service when needed, adjust recipes based on customer requests, monitor stock levels, and handle ordering. You’ll also be involved in training and guiding current team members.
We’re after someone with proven experience as a chef, ideally in an Italian kitchen. You should be confident using a range of equipment, have strong cooking knowledge,
stay calm during service, manage your time well, and keep up to date with modern techniques. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation rules is required.
