Passionate Job Graduate Occupational Therapist
Location: 65 Fennell St, Port Melbourne VIC 3207 (Community-based with travel across the Port Melbourne area)
Work Arrangement: Full-Time / Part-Time (Please indicate your preference in your application)
Salary: $70,000 (exclusive of superannuation) + Travel Allowance + Performance Bonus

About Us:
Empowering children to thrive and participate fully in their communities is at the heart of what we do at OT For Us. We are a new and passionate client-centred occupational therapy practice dedicated to providing high-quality therapy services for children and teenagers. Currently led by our dedicated founder and Occupational Therapist, we offer comprehensive support through close sessions (including in-clinic, home visits and school visits), detailed reports and thorough session notes for a range of NDIS-funded conditions, with a strong commitment to supporting children on the Autism Spectrum.
The Opportunity (About the Role):
As a Graduate Occupational Therapist with our team, you'll have the exciting opportunity to:
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload of NDIS-funded clients aged 3-24 years, including those on the Autism Spectrum and other developmental conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop client-centred goals, and implement engaging therapy interventions in close sessions across West and North Melbourne Metropolitan areas.
- Manage all aspects of client documentation, including assessment report, NDIS review report, and maintaining accurate session notes.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication by emailing parents and key stakeholders regarding client progress and therapy plans.
- Your performance will be KPI-based,
offering you flexibility in how you manage your schedule.

What You'll Bring (Requirements):
To be successful in this rewarding role at OT For Us, you will bring:
Essential Criteria:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an AHPRA-approved university.
- Current AHPRA registration (or eligible for immediate registration upon graduation).
- A current Australian Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
- A current Working With Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one promptly.
- A current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one promptly.
- A highly organised approach with excellent time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including clear and concise report writing.
- A client-centred approach with a genuine passion for working with children and teenagers with NDIS-funded conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- The ability to work autonomously while also contributing effectively within a supportive team environment.
Desirable Criteria:
- A current First Aid Certificate.
- Previous experience in paediatric settings.
- A foundational understanding of the NDIS framework.
