Energy Advance is a national company, providing energy analysis and reports to clients across all states and territories in Australia. We are renowned within the building and construction industry as specialists in energy efficiency, driven by exceptional customer service and long-term business relationships.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Invoice Clerk to join our finance team. This permanent, part-time role requires someone who can ensure the accurate handling of invoicing, payments, and client queries. As the first point of contact for account-related matters, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the invoicing process, maintaining accurate financial records, and fostering positive client relationships.

Position Details:

- Permanent, part-time role (15-20 hours per week)

- 3 days per week

- Role Commencing January 2026

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and send daily, weekly, and monthly invoices to clients, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up to date

- Investigate and resolve any invoicing or accounts receivable issues

- Monitor customer accounts for delayed payments and follow up on outstanding invoices

- Respond promptly to client billing queries, maintaining professional communication and building strong relationships

- Research and resolve payment discrepancies,



working closely with clients to address any billing errors

- Support the Workflow Department with administrative duties as required

Key Selection Criteria:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:

- Administration, invoicing or accounts experience preferred

- Strong initiative and ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- Excellent written, numeric, and verbal communication skills

- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero is advantageous but not essential

- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines

- Strong problem-solving skills and a systematic approach to work
