Technical Business Analyst
Location: Melbourne CBD {Hybrid work}
Contract : Initial 7 months with potential extension
About the Role
We’re seeking a Technical Business Analyst to lead the modernising knowledge management. This role focuses on capturing, structuring, and consolidating technical knowledge into a centralized repository—driving operational efficiency and enabling AI-powered capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Document critical processes, system flows, and data architecture.
- Curate and normalize content into a structured knowledge platform.
- Produce technical specifications and integration artifacts.
- Translate technical assets (metadata, SQL logic) into business-friendly language.
- Develop process flows, dataflow diagrams, and source-to-target mapping.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and provide fortnightly status reporting.
What makes you a good fit?
- Strong technical business analysis experience in data services or knowledge management.
- Expertise in documenting complex systems and integration specifications.
- Familiarity with metadata management, SQL, and semantic layer design.
- Agile delivery and DevOps tools experience.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts and natural language query enablement.
- Knowledge of data governance, security classification, and compliance frameworks.
