This company have been operating in Australia for the last 56 years and has one of the best reputations for not only driving and winning major key accounts but also working its way up through the ranks of the ERG reports each year. They are very big on supporting customers but also provide technical support for aftermarket and keep ahead of its competitors throughout the earthmoving equipment industry. With three major areas to the business Retail Sales or New Equipment, Used Equipment Sales, National Rental Fleet operation this international leader can offer the full turnkey solution to any fleet customer within APAC.

Job Opportunity –

This role is not for the faint-hearted, so if you’re looking for a nice easy-going role then please look elsewhere. We need a proven leader that can set the pace, handle the pressure and deal with some very strong personalities and pressure from each department. Your role is to support and maintain the overall operation, you will manage the State head office and make sure that the following area are met on time and to date –

- New builds of equipment is completed on time and the backlog is being pushed through the service operation.

- Manage the Service of the rental fleet which consists of Excavators, roller, Dozer, graders, Loaders, Crusher and screens, Drills, ADT, Water carts and mini construction equipment.

- Build project on used equipment are completed and project builds are being managed with the customers, on costs, parts, invoicing and support.

- Recruitment of new Stat, Interviewing, ref checking and onboarding into the workshop and field service teams,



hiring and firing of staff, Staff complaints and day to day issues and problems.

- Facility management and organization of the workshop, yards and otter areas, parts department and office environment.

- Working with Sales team, hiring team, Used Equipment Manager, Parts department, Transport manager, National Service Manager, Service coordinators, workshop teams, field service team and upper management.

· Daily reporting on whip, invoicing, parts, new build and projects.

- Maintain a safe & healthy working environment in compliance with OH & S policies & regulations.

- Talk with customers daily and advise on invoicing and payment plus putting out fires with the direction of resolving problems and driving the relationship forward.

- Manage and maintain workshop and work with senior management to achieve objectives

- Ensure the work carried out in the workshop is in compliance with the job specifications

- Oversee schematics of recent builds and openly communicate within internal departments on technical issues and problems that may occur with customized equipment.

- Communicate effectively to the OEM in supply and logistic issues.

- Support your remote service branches and provide direct management support.

- YOU must understand retail service environment that Time on the build is essential and coming in under cost.

· 1x Hire Coordinator

· 1x Workshop Manager

· 15 workshop Techs

· 4 Field Service Tech





· 4x Feil Field Service roles Open for recruitment

JOB REQUIRMENTS –

· 5+ years as a service Manger within the Earthmoving or Agg Industry.

· You must have worked for major Earthmoving dealership or OEM within Australia.

· Cert 3 Heavy Plant Mechanic

· Leadership qualities

· Machine Retail experience

· Excellent organisational skills

· Team Leader

· Trade qualification as Fitter or Diesel Mechanic

SALARY & BENNFITTS –

· Base Salary $130,000

· Uncapped Commission - $80,000
