About the role
As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient and organised operation of our busy warehouse facility in Wetherill Park, NSW. This full-time role is an integral part of our logistics team, ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our distribution network. You will work closely with your team to receive, store, pick, pack and dispatch a wide range of building materials to customers across the region.
What you'll be doing
1. Unloading and receiving incoming goods, checking quantities and quality against orders
2. Utilising warehouse management systems to record inventory levels and movements
3. Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move and store goods
4. Picking, packing and loading customer orders accurately and efficiently
5. Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment
6. Assisting with stock takes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
7. Supporting the wider logistics team with any ad-hoc tasks as required
What we're looking for
1. Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment
2.
Minimum of 1-2 years of warehouse experience is required for this position
3. Forklift licence and demonstrated experience operating warehouse machinery
4. Candidates must be able to operate forklifts and order pickers safely and efficiently
5. Current forklift licence and certification is required at the start of employment
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly and accurately
7. Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues
8. Ability to follow processes and procedures to ensure quality and efficiency
9. Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks
