Aquaterro employs full time Industrial Design staff who are constantly working on new product design, and product development with our key manufacturing partners. Aquaterro has in-house Industrial 3D Printing capability, for customer and in house use, as well as Laser Cutting and Engraving, Industrial Sewing and Rapid Prototyping facilities.
We are looking for a highly organised and tech-savvy eCommerce Manager to take ownership of the management, functionality, and day-to-day operations of our Direct to Consumer (D2C) business and website, including eCommerce product management, stock control, and content updates.
This role blends technical eCommerce savvy with retail sales strategies and customer understanding to ensure a seamless online experience for customers and efficient backend operations for the business.
Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for the following duties, including but limited to:
eCommerce Sales and Promotion
• Drive sales and growth on the Broad Arrow Tactical eCommerce store, ensuring a seamless end to end customer experience.
• Plan and execute online sale strategies and promotions.
• Own the day-to-day operations and customer-facing presentation of the Broad Arrow Tactical online store.
• Build rapport with customers, provide accurate information,
and assist in product selection to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate your knowledge of products and inventory to guide customers in their purchases.
• Address customer questions or issues regarding products and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Ability to engage with a wide range of customers and provide helpful product recommendations.
• Execute and maintain the online merchandising and promotional strategy in line with commercial objectives, ensuring products, pricing, and offers are correctly configured and live as planned.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Service, and Business Development to ensure end-to-end alignment and a seamless customer experience across digital and fulfilment.
• Work with Business Development and Customer Service the product selection and buying strategy to ensure a commercially successful collection that resonates with the intended customer.
• Collaborate with Marketing department on campaigns, seasonal promotions, and banners.
• Track key performance metrics (traffic, conversion, bounce rates) and make recommendations for improvements.
Website Content & Technical Management
• Act as the final checkpoint for outgoing eCommerce changes, responsible for validating releases, reviewing site updates, and ensuring quality before anything goes live.
• Maintain, update,
and improve all aspects of the company websites.
• Ensure site uptime, performance, speed, and overall functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, liaising with IT support as needed.
• Manage content updates via CMS (WordPress and Shopify).
• Monitor and optimise user experience (UX), site navigation, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility compliance.
• Implement improvements as reported by customers or team members.
• Assist in the setup of back-in-stock alerts and pre-order campaigns.
• Coordinate product launches and technical updates with internal stakeholders.
Inventory & Order Operations
• Upload and update product listings, including images, descriptions, pricing, specifications, tags, and collections.
• Monitor and adjust stock levels across the website.
• Work with internal teams to manage product availability and life cycles.
• Place restocking orders based on sales data, stock levels, and seasonal trends.
• Remove discontinued or out-of-stock items from the storefront as needed, plan and conduct clearances and specials.
• Track product performance and adjust listings to drive sales (e.g., bundling, promotions).
• Implement and manage inventory management tools or plugins.
• Optimise product pages and website content for SEO best practices.
Compliance, Security & Maintenance
• Work alongside Security & IT department to ensure website cyber security protocols, backups, and SSL certifications are maintained.
• Stay current with industry best practices, legal compliance (e.g., GDPR), and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
• Coordinate regular audits and system updates to keep the site up-to-date and functional.
