Job Title: Service Manager

Location: Brisbane, Australia

Key Responsibilities:

As the Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our dealership's service operations for buses and trucks. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of skilled technicians and service advisors, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture. Inspire the team to provide excellent customer service and achieve performance targets.

- Service Operations: Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the service department. Coordinate daily service schedules, manage workflow, and monitor repair processes to optimize productivity.

- Customer Focus: Maintain a customer-centric approach in all service interactions. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally to uphold our dealership's reputation for exceptional service.

- Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality of service and repair work performed by the team. Implement standard operating procedures to ensure work meets or exceeds manufacturer and industry standards.

- Inventory and Parts Management:



Collaborate with the Parts Department to ensure sufficient inventory levels and timely procurement of parts and components needed for service and repairs.

- Safety and Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations in all service activities. Conduct regular safety training for the team to maintain a safe working environment.

- Financial Management: Prepare and manage the service department budget, monitor expenses, and identify areas for cost optimization while maintaining service quality.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Service Manager in an automotive dealership or similar environment, with exposure to buses and trucks being an advantage.

- Robust leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

- Thorough understanding of automotive service operations and industry best practices.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Proficiency in using dealership management systems and service-related software.

- Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle multiple priorities efficiently.

- Certification in automotive mechanics or a related field is desirable.
