About the Company & Role:
Our client is a well-established and very successful civil engineering construction company with a particular focus on projects such as Road Construction, Bridge Construction, Underground Services & Land development. Over the years they’ve formed great relationships with their clients – both government and private, and they’ve good an outstanding reputation in the industry.
The role is a site-based role, located in the Perth metro region. You will be responsible for assisting the management team in ensuring that everyone on site understands and comply with the commercial requirements in their relevant contracts. Furthermore, you will be Assisting teams with procurement, Processing of payments and claims, cost forecasting and reporting of projects in accordance with the reporting timetable & Assist in the production of reports as required by the Construction & the Commercial Managers.

Experience Required:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying is preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrated solid competency in procurement, forecasting
- Strong knowledge of contract admin – both head and subcontract, experience in compiling delay notices, variations, RFI’s, contractual notices.
- Strong local trade relationships would be a massive plus (we’d like to see some trade ref’s regardless)
- A positive attitude along with strong organisational skills
- Attention to detail & commercially astute
