Casual hours commencing February 2026.
Teaching into Diploma of Interpreting (Auslan).
Based at the Melbourne City campus with face‑to‑face and online teaching.
About You
As a Casual Teacher within RMIT’s College of Vocational Education you will be mainly responsible for the delivery of course material, assessing students and supervising students enrolled in selected courses within the program.
You will participate in the program’s continuing review of course content and development of teaching methods (including online delivery methods) and methods of student assessment. Your performance will be underpinned by participation in relevant activities which ensure your vocational competence meets and/or exceeds the education level being delivered and assessed.
We are looking for VE Teachers to assist in the program of C5423 Diploma of Interpreting (Auslan).
Qualifications
- Hold or be enrolled in a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE4011 0 or higher)
- NAATI registration for Interpreter in Auslan
- Experienced Auslan interpreter
- Demonstrated experience of teaching in Vocational Education is desirable
Hold an Employee Working With Children Card (Victoria)
Appointment to this position is subject to passing an employee Working with Children check.
