LOADER OPERATOR - ONGOING ROLE | MOLENDINAR
Location: Molendinar, 3214
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $43.39 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday (Saturday optional) | 6:30am start - finish times vary
Position Type: Ongoing, Casual
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
You'll be operating a range of heavy machinery across a fast-paced landfill/waste management workplace, including:
- Operating CAT Loaders across landfill and recycling areas
- Operating 8T Excavators with 5-finger grabs and attachments
- Operating various sized Dozers for pushing/moving earth, debris and materials
- Operating CAT 950 Loaders
- Following strict site safety protocols - radio comms, spotters, traffic management & PPE
- Identifying and reporting contamination, hazards & equipment faults
- Assisting with general housekeeping to maintain clean haul roads & work zones
- Working within environmental guidelines - preventing spills, dust issues & cross-contamination
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
Essential:
- Valid Loader Ticket
- Recent experience operating heavy machinery
- Willingness to work in landfill, waste or recycling environments
Nice to Have:
- Excavator, Dozer, Dump Truck or HR Licence
- Experience in waste management or quarry operations
Additional Requirements:
- Police Check
- Pre-Employment Medical
PPE Required:
- Long work pants
- Long-sleeve orange hi-vis shirt
- Steel cap boots
- Hard hat
