The Role
The successful candidate will become part of a proactive and committed team Reporting to the Line Manager, you will provide leadership, operational oversight, and project management across Calcrete Operations and Mine Projects.
You will be responsible for:
This is a hands-on leadership role with direct responsibility for:
Safe and compliant operation of Calcrete mining, crushing operations
Execution, coordination of Calcrete mining, crushing and screening to meet plant quality and volume requirements
Delivery of Mine Projects, including Mine Rehabilitation activities and specialised below-water-table mining, in collaboration with Mine Planning, Production Superintendent, and the Environment Team.
Driving sustaining and improvement projects to optimise productivity, efficiency, and safety
Leadership, coaching, and development of operational and project teams
Financial management, including budget development, cost control, and reporting
Statutory Leadership obligations associated with fixed, mobile plant and mining operations
About You
You will have significant experience in mining operations and project management, with proven leadership skills and a strong focus on safety and compliance. You will also have:
Demonstrated experience in mining operations, preferably in calcrete or similar material
Knowledge of WA Mining Regulations and Quarry Manager statutory responsibilities. Qualified Quarry Managers ticket an advantage
Proven ability to plan, schedule, and deliver projects on time and within budget
Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams.
Strong stakeholder engagement, leadership and communication skills
Experience with budgeting, cost control, and operational performance monitoring
