Cairns Cars is a leading automotive dealership with service & parts centres in Far North Queensland, supporting 8 car franchises & 2 motorbike franchises. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician/Mechanic.

You will be working in any of our three service workshops servicing new & Used vehicles. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality workmanship and growing their career with a supportive and reputable business.
What You Will Be Doing
- Performing scheduled servicing and general maintenance, plus RWC inspections.
- Diagnostic and fault-finding work (depending on experience)
- Carrying out warranty and recall repairs
- Completing repairs and recommendations in line with manufacturer and dealership standards
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional presentation
What You Will Bring
- A completed TAFE Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
- A current Australian manual driver’s licence
- Hold or have the ability to obtain RWC licence
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Good time management and organisational ability
- A positive attitude and solid work ethic

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
