About the role
Join the team at A1 plastic solutions' as a Panel/Plastic Repair Technician. Working in/around the mulgrave area, this full-time role will see you using your exceptional technical skills to repair and restore plastic components ( headlights, bumper bars etc) to pre accident condition. You will play a vital part in ensuring our customers' vehicles are returned to them in perfect condition.
What you'll be doing
- Assess and diagnose damage to plastic components
- Expertly repair and restore damaged areas using the latest techniques and equipment
- Prepare surfaces for paintshop to high-fill repair
- Carry out modifications and alterations to vehicle panels and plastic parts as required
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
What we're looking for
- Formal qualification in panel/plastic repair or a related automotive trade
- Applicants must hold any automotive trade certification relevant to panel or plastic repair work
- Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience in a similar role
- Robust technical skills and an eye for detail to deliver high-quality repairs
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately to tight deadlines
- A safety-focused approach and commitment to following all workshop procedures
