About Us:
EVH Emergency Vet Hospital in Wangara is open 24/7, 365 days a year, providing urgent care and support for pets. Our mission is to deliver high-quality veterinary care for pets in need, with a dedicated team of emergency veterinarians and veterinary nurses. We are looking for a Full-Time Veterinary Nurse to join our team.

Key Duties:

· Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgeries.

· Safely hold and restrain animals.

· Clean and sterilise equipment and treatment areas.

· Prepare surgical instruments and assist during operations.

· Monitor animals under anaesthesia and during recovery.

· Administer medications under veterinarian guidance.

· Perform basic laboratory tests (blood, urine, faecal samples).





· Maintain medical records and manage stock supplies.

· Provide basic advice to pet owners on animal care, nutrition, and aftercare.

· Assist with reception tasks (booking, invoicing, phone calls) as needed.

Requirements:

· Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).

· Minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary clinic, animal hospital, or similar environment.

· Confident animal handling skills.

· Strong communication and customer service abilities.

· Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
