The Role
We are seeking a Senior Adviser – Regulatory to join our Compliance & Regulatory Affairs team. This role is pivotal in supporting the General Manager, Compliance & Regulatory Affairs, in the management of regulatory submissions and approvals that are essential for Crown Perth’s operational gaming business and growth projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice to internal and external stakeholders on regulatory matters, including regulatory approval processes in relation to liquor and gaming
- Prepare and manage regulatory submissions
- Oversee casino employee licensing processes
- Collaborate with operational and corporate teams and in relation to regulatory submissions and casino employee licensing
- Engage with the Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety (LGIRS) on regulatory matters and casino employee licensing matters
About you:
- Strong knowledge of, and experience working with, regulatory approval processes and industry licensing requirements
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to manage complex regulatory matters with integrity and professionalism
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Ability to manage competing priorities to meet regulatory and project deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and project management mindset
- Well-developed analytical and report-writing skills
- Ability to confidentially handle sensitive information
- Experience (3+ years) working with regulatory, compliance and/or risk frameworks and policies in a highly regulated environment
Additional Information
This role requires:
- Casino Employee Licence (Perth)
- Degree or other qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g. Business Management, Law, Accounting, Commerce) preferred
