Roof Safety Solutions is a leading Western Australian company providing specialist height safety installations to commercial and industrial buildings throughout Western Australia.
We are seeking a motivated, multi-skilled, experienced fulltime employment Welder with welding and fabricator experience to join a dynamic safety orientated team working on an interesting variety of work in fabrication.
The position is Factory-based with minimal site work.
Requirements
- Must have stainless steel and aluminum TIG welding experience
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality
- Be willing to do overtime when & if required
- Must have a drivers license
- Must have white card
- Strong work ethic with good communication skills
- Ability to learn and embrace new ideas and techniques
- An awareness of OH&S; and safe work practices
- Must be competent to use hand and power tools, metal cutting machines
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to problem solve, work unsupervised, and also work as part of a team
- Forklift license an advantage
Tasks include:
- Studying blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements
- Selecting, cleaning and preparing a metal material
- Using saw band equipment and grinder to cut
- Positions, aligns, fits, and welds together parts, using jigs, welding torch, and hand tools
- You perform various quality checks to ensure your components meet all specifications, document the results
- Keep records of materials and labor required for each project.

- Driver’s License
- Construction Card (White Card)
