BI and Database Specialist

About the Role
In this newly created position, you will enable effective data extraction, transformation, and visualisation across business-as-usual and project deliverables. You will
- Collaborate with finance and business teams to understand, and met, business needs,
- Develop and optimise complex SQL queries for reporting and analytics,
- Design and maintain ETL processes using SSIS,
- Build and manage reports using SSRS and other reporting platforms,
- Work with SSAS cubes for multidimensional analysis,
- Monitor and maintain SQL Server environments (on-prem and cloud),
- Document query logic, data sources, and reporting structures.
What We’re Looking For
With previous experience in a related role (BI Developer, SQL Developer, Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, Database Administrator or Business Intelligence Analyst),
you will have:
- Demonstrated experience extracting, transforming and visualising data,
- Hands on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS,
- Be comfortable engaging with finance stakeholders and their data,
- Experience with BI dashboarding tools such as Power BI or ZAP BI,
- Willingness to obtain a cleared National Criminal Check suitable for Aged Care.
