The Role:
We are looking for an AP/AR Officer to join our Team in the role of Finance Officer.
You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate management of financial transactions, reporting, and records using MYOB Advanced.
You'll have strong attention to detail, an understanding of financial principles and practices, and work effectively as part of a team.
This is an exciting chance to contribute to the financial success of TIG and make a meaningful impact.
** Please note - this role does not require payroll or tax reporting obligations.
This is an entry-level / graduate role, ideal for someone looking to build a career in a close knit, cohesive Finance Team with a strong learning mindset.
What your day will look like:
- Perform day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable/receivable and invoice processing.
- Assist in preparing reports, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and implement best practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation using MYOB Advanced.
- Support the finance department in ad-hoc tasks and special projects as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in Accounts Payable and Receivables.
- Good knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and accounting practices.
- Experience using MYOB Advanced (preferred) or similar accounting software (MYOB AccountRight, Xero)
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with tools & process such as Trello, Microsoft Dynamics
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
