Yarraville Dermatology is private consulting clinic in Yarraville for the specialist treatment of adult and paediatric dermatological conditions

As a current and growing practice, we are looking for anexperienced Nurse with leadership and management experience who is looking to expand their skills into a practice management role to fulfill a dual position. Training will be provided for the right candidate with nursing experience for the practice manager position

Key Responsibilities:

Practice Manager Role

- Management of daily operations and reception duties
- Working alongside dermatologists, Nurse Practitioners, Nursing staff and Dermal clinicians to streamline clinic operations
- Handling administrative workload, staffing, scheduling, and billing
- Hiring, training, and supervising administrative and support staff
- Planning staffing levels to match patient demand
- Overseeing customer service standards and addressing patient concerns.
- Managing patient scheduling systems, reminders, and feedback processes.
- Ensuring culturally safe and patient-centred care.

PRACTICE NURSE

- Patient care throughout consultation.
- Assist patients with undressing,



making them comfortable etc. for consultation
- Surgical and procedural assistance with dermatologists.
- Assistance with patient phone calls and results.
- Check scripts, pathology requests after consultation
- Maintain accurate records for procedures
- Assist with UVB treatments - provide patient information as needed
- Wound care, removal of sutures, post-op checks
- Dermatology photography and upload of photographs
- Laser treatment (following appropriate training)
- Nurse led treatments of conditions such as warts, molluscum contagiosum
- Organise procedures, prepare injection, place patient, support for patient, aftercare for patient
- Stock control - medical supplies and patient samples
- Maintain clean and tidy consulting room/procedure room
- Maintain supply of local injections for biopsies and procedures daily
- Assistance with booking patient appointments
- Cleaning, maintenance & sterilisation of instruments

Tues, Wed & Friday 8-4

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $45.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
