Maintenance Technician / Production Supervisor – Food Manufacturing

About Us
We are a fast-growing Australian food manufacturing company specialising in authentic Turkish pastries. Due to continued growth and strong demand for our products, we are seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Technician / Production Supervisor to join our operations team.
About the Role
This is a dual, hands-on role suited to an experienced all-rounder who enjoys technical maintenance work while leading and supporting a production team. You will ensure machinery operates smoothly, minimise downtime, and contribute to the efficiency and safety of daily production.
You will work closely with the Operations Manager and production team to maintain high standards of quality, output, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preventative, routine, and breakdown maintenance on production equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults
- Lead and supervise production team members during daily operations
- Monitor workflow, production output, and adherence to quality standards
- Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives
- Operate forklifts for loading, unloading, and inventory movement (valid licence required)
- Maintain maintenance logs, production documentation, and compliance records
- Promote and maintain a strong WHS culture
About You
- Experience in maintenance, production supervision, or a similar manufacturing role
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on repair and troubleshooting skills
- Current and valid Forklift Licence (essential)
- Ability to lead, guide, and motivate small teams
- Proactive, solution-focused, and strong communication skills
- FMCG or food manufacturing experience is highly regarded
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
