Do you have strong administrative skills, a love of sport and are looking for a new opportunity?
The Northern Tasmanian Netball Association (NTNA) is seeking an organised, proactive individual with robust administrative skills to lead a new initiative funded by the Play Our Way Grant (2024–2027).
Based in Launceston, this role allows you to contribute to a supportive local community while leading a program that empowers women and girls in sport and promotes inclusivity, leadership and long term engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver program activities (training, mentoring, workshops, guest speakers) including recruitment of athletes, umpires, coaches, mentors and emerging leaders.
- Implement strategies aligned with Play Our Way Grant objectives for sustainable growth.
- Track, evaluate and report on program progress, participant feedback and grant outcomes.
- Oversee grant finances and operations to ensure effective use of funds.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create development and leadership opportunities for women and girls.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Exceptional organisational skills to coordinate,
develop and implement programs or initiatives.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse groups including but not limited to coaches, athletes, officials and stakeholders.
- Experience in or a willingness to understand working within grant guidelines
- Experience in netball is beneficial but not essential. We welcome candidates eager to make a difference in women’s and girls’ sports.
- Excellent computer knowledge in Excel, Outlook, Word.

Position Type: Part-time (20-30 hours/week negotiated)
Award: Sporting Organisation Award – Clerical & Administrative, Grade 5
Rate: $30.68 per hour – plus 12% superannuation
Contract: Fixed-term contract until June 2027 (under Play Our Way Grant)
