Position Details
- Location: Wetherill Park, NSW
- Shift: Day Shift - 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Employment: Long-term/Ongoing position
- Starting Rate: $37.57 per hour
- Pay Progression: $40.57 per hour after successful probationary period
- Overtime: Available when required
About the Role
As our Forklift Driver, you'll play a crucial role in our warehouse and production operations, ensuring efficient material handling and inventory management in a food manufacturing environment that adheres to strict quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Operate counterbalance and high reach forklifts safely and efficiently
- Inventory Management: Transport stock throughout the facility and rotate warehouse inventory
- Receiving Operations: Unload pallets from incoming deliveries and containers
- Stock Control: Participate in stocktakes and maintain accurate records
- Compliance: Strictly adhere to GMP, BRC, and allergen management policies
- Safety: Work safely at all times and report unsafe practices immediately
- Team Collaboration: Work independently and as part of a team under varying supervision levels
Essential Requirements
- Current Forklift License: Valid license with counterbalance and high reach experience
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift and carry up to 25kg regularly
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Work Authorization:
Must be legally entitled to work in Australia without restrictions (Citizens/Permanent Residents only)
- Reliability: Exceptional attendance and punctuality record (non-negotiable)
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills and numerical accuracy
