Choice Metering provides electricity, gas and water metering services to the Embedded Network market. We use market-leading equipment and software to manage our field services staff.

We are based in Melbourne's south east and have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a passionate and motivated Field Staff Coordinator & Team Leader utilising our in-house built software solutions.

Reporting into the Operations Manager, the primary purpose of this position is to manage our team of field operators and contractors conducting both the reading of meters and Service Orders for tenants moving in and out of apartments.

Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Coordinate daily work for our team of meter readers and contractors ensuring all tasks are completed each day.

2. A minimum of 1-3 years experience in either utilities metering or field service coordination is required for this position.

3. Process exceptions resulting from the daily work schedule.

4. Manage and resolve site access issues as they arise.

5. Ensure the field staff comply with business procedures, customer processes and regulatory requirements.

6. Notify the Retailer of any metering irregularities, suspected tampering and unsafe meter installations found.

7. Liaise with customers to help solve problems relating to metering issues or provided readings.

8. Assist in the provision of performance reports on a monthly basis and attend Monthly Meetings

Additionally, you will possess:

- Coordination skills ensuring balanced workload and operational efficiency

- Ability to lead a team of field operators and solve any issues quickly

- A minimum of 1-3 years of team leadership or supervisory experience is essential for this role.

- Fluent English (Verbal & Written) with Good communications skills

- Great customer liaison skills

- Ability to deal with Building Managers and understand their requirements

- Ability to articulate yourself

- Intermediate Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook-Email and Word

- Attention to detail and timely response to customer enquiries.

- Flexibility and Adaptability

- Problem Solving and Decision Making skills

- Health and Safety including environmental consciousness.

It is expected you will have a Victorian drivers license.

The following skills or knowledge will be valuable:

- Experience with Field Service Coordination

- Scheduling software exposure

- Team leadership

- Procedures development

- Utility Meter Reading: Electric, Gas or Water
