A leading national D&C; builder is gearing up to deliver a major $26M food processing facility near Homebush and is looking for an experienced Site Manager to take the lead. This business has a long-standing track record in delivering complex industrial and manufacturing projects to exceptional standards in safety and quality.
The Role
As the Site Manager, you will take full ownership of the project delivery, leading a cohesive site team and managing all day-to-day construction activities to ensure programme, safety, and quality outcomes are achieved.
The role is a full-time position on a project that has a 12-18 month programme. Employment will be via a fixed term contract arrangement that will likely extend into a permanent role. the pipeline in Sydney is robust from a tendering perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all site operations to meet programme milestones
- Deliver a fully operational facility to client expectations
- Maintain industry-leading safety, quality, and compliance standards
- Engage with clients, consultants, and subcontractors throughout delivery
- Track progress, manage site reporting, and maintain accurate documentation
- Support and mentor junior team members to strengthen site capability
What’s on Offer
- Salary:
$240K – $260K (experience dependent)
- 5-day work week with occasional rotating Saturdays

What You’ll Need
- Carpentry trade ( must) and building qualification (preferred)
- Proven experience independently delivering industrial or food processing facilities $20M+
- Strong planning, sequencing, and subcontractor management skills
- Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and lead collaborative teams
- High attention to detail across safety, systems, and programme
- Confidence using digital site management tools
